Client Challenge

Verdae Development was exploring the feasibility of anchoring a new mixed-use district with a multi-purpose stadium capable of hosting up to 150 annual events, from professional soccer to concerts and festivals. To advance partnership discussions with city officials and the Triumph/Liberty ownership group, Verdae needed an independent assessment of market demand, financial sustainability and economic impact.

Approach

Victus Advisors conducted a feasibility analysis covering:

  • Market demand study of Greenville's demographics, sports and event trends and venue landscape

  • Financial feasibility modeling for operations, event revenues and long-term sustainability

  • Benchmarking against peer USL stadiums and entertainment districts

  • Economic and fiscal impact analysis for the City of Greenville

Benefits to Client

The study delivered an independent roadmap with data and projections that equipped Verdae Development to advance partnership discussions, engage stakeholders and evaluate viable paths forward for one of the Upstate's most ambitious sports development proposals.
